It Started With One Face, One Morning.
[The actual origin moment goes here — the first client, the first gown, the reason the studio started.]
[Founder name] began doing makeup [when / where / why — the specific, unglamorous origin]. [Detail about the first clients — friends, family, a cousin's wedding.]
What kept happening was this: a client would love her makeup, then arrive in a gown that fought it. Or she'd find a beautiful gown and have no one to build the rest of the look around it. The two halves of the same morning kept being handled by strangers who never spoke.
House of Montalvo exists to close that gap. [Year], [where the studio started], [how the collection began — one rack? borrowed gowns? your own designs?].
Today we dress women all year for the days they'll be describing decades from now — brides, debutantes, contenders, ninangs, mothers, graduates. Some come for a gown. Some come for a face. Most come for both, which is the way we always thought it should be.
Three Things We Won't Compromise.
Fit Before Everything
An extraordinary gown that doesn't fit is a beautiful mistake. We'd rather alter three times than let you leave in something almost right.
You, at Your Best
Not someone else at theirs. We won't put a house look on your face or a trending silhouette on a body it was never designed for. Reference photos are a starting point, never the destination.
Unhurried Is a Service
Fittings are by appointment because the studio should be yours while you're in it. Nobody makes a good decision about the most photographed day of their life while someone waits behind them.
